The publication is part of Ilir Kola's PhD project. The dataset is being made public both to act as supplementary data for the publication, and in order for other researchers to use this data in their own work. The data is collected through an online survey published in the platform Prolific Academic. The research project was made possible from funding from the NWO (CoreSAEP project, with project number 639.022.416). *** Purpose of the online survey *** In the survey people were asked to describe social situations that occurred to them in the past days, and then for each situation they were asked about the psychological characteristics of the situation using the S8* scale. Furthermore, they were asked for the personal values that are promoted/demoted in each situation. The procedure is described in the paper (http://ceur-ws.org/Vol-2787/paper3.pdf). *** Description of the data in this dataset *** Each row represents the answers of a participant. The first row gives the question codes and the second row gives the question text. Each participant gave demographic information about themselves (columns Q7, Q9). Then they described the first situation (columns Q10-Q16_11_TEXT), answered the S8* questions about that situation (columns Q24_1-Q24_24), and answered how much was each personal value promoted/demoted in that situation (columns Q28_1-Q28_21). Then, they did the same for the second situation (description in columns Q13-Q17_11, S8* questionnaire in columns Q25_1-Q25_24, and personal values in column Q32_1-Q32_21)
