Appendix B. Spur area sequential autoregression (SAR) regression models of categorical predictor variables including: (a) treatment type, (b) mountasin pine beetle (MPB) classification, and (c) cover type.
Spur area SAR regression models of categorical predictor variables including: (a) treatment type (base contrast = no treatment; AIC = 1908719), (b) mountain pine beetle class (MPBclass; base contrast = green, AIC = 1908687), and (c) cover type (base contrast = Grassland; AIC = 1908756). Intercepts of each model represent the base contrast and slope coefficients and corresponding p-values indicate whether factors have a significantly greater or less effect on the relative difference Normalized Burn Ratio (RdNBR) than the base contrast. Treatment types include clearcuts (CC), clearcut and broadcast burn (CCBB), no treatment (NT), thin only (Thin), thin and broadcast burn (ThinBB), and past wildfires (WF). MPB classes include unattacked, green vegetation (Green), mixture of red attack and green vegetation (Mixed), and red attack (Red).
