Adam D. Kay, Taylor Zumbusch, Justa L. Heinen, Tom C. Marsh, and David A. Holway. 2010. Nutrition and interference competition have interactive effects on the behavior and performance of Argentine ants. Ecology 91:57–64.

Appendix A. ANOVA results for observations of Argentine ant patrolling and food gathering.

ANOVA results for observations of patrolling and feeding activity during an experiment in which dietary protein:carbohydrate ratio and exposure to interference competition were manipulated for 12 weeks. Colonies facing interference did so every other day: “Introduction” refers to whether or not competitor ants were introduced to experimental colonies on that day. (A) Results from the first week of the experiment. (B) Results from the 12th and final week of the experiment.
