Table A1. Experimental setup. The amount of nitrogen (N, µg), phosphorus (P, µg), sterols (mg), essential ω-3 and ω-6 fatty acids (EFA, µg) available in the diets every other day when total carbon content was 5 mg C/L. VicMUa1 = Actinobacterium Candidatus Rhodoluna limnophila (MWH-VicMua1), Mekk-D6 = Polynucleobacter necessarius ssp. Asymbioticus (MWH-Mekk-D6). Particles of Phragmites australis were diluted with either L16 (t-POC L16) medium or lake water (t-POC Lake) and incubated for two months.
