This folder contains the data and scripts used in the paper "Dynamical response properties of neocortical neurons to conductance-driven time-varying inputs", by D. Linaro, I. Biro and M. Giugliano. The content of this archive is organized as follows: 1) LCG - contains the script used to run the experiments. 2) Scripts - contains the Matlab scripts used to analyze the data. 3) current_modulation_high_firing_rate - contains data for the stimulation condition corresponding to high neuronal firing rate with current modulation. 4) current_modulation_low_firing_rate - contains data for the stimulation condition corresponding to low neuronal firing rate with current modulation. 5) exc_inh_conductance_modulation_high_firing_rate - contains data for the stimulation condition corresponding to high neuronal firing rate with excitatory and inhibitory conductance modulation. 6) exc_inh_conductance_modulation_low_firing_rate - contains data for the stimulation condition corresponding to low neuronal firing rate with excitatory and inhibitory conductance modulation. The structure of each of the last 4 subfolders is the following: current_mod... |--- 20120911E01 # each cell has a directory | |--- sinusoids | |--- low_bg # low conductance background | |--- *.h5 # files containing the raw data | |--- spikes_ap_peak.mat # file containing the preprocessed data (mostly spike times) | |--- run_me.m # a script to perform the analysis of the data contained in this folder | |--- high_bg # high conductance background | | Please note that the H5 files containing the raw data are present only in a subset of cells, those contained in the current_modulation_low_firing_rate folder. To get access to the raw data for all cells and conditions, as well as for any other questions, please contact Daniele Linaro at danielelinaro@gmail.com.
